I LOVE TODD SAMPSON was a theatrical piece produced by The Living Room Theatre and incorporated architectural installations to create scenes throughout
the multi level performance space.Utilising the whole of Pier 2/3 The Wharf as a venue the audience walked freely through the entire performance
space, creating a unique experience for each attendee. This project proved to be particularly challenging, however equally rewarding. Due the
size of the performance area, the space is quite literally a ‘Black Box’ with no real infrastructure a part from the fluro work lights. As
the performance progressed through the space a single ops area, or ‘control room’ was not feasible. As a solution each area was operated as
a ‘satellite stage’ having its own lighting and sound console. The operator and stage manager had to move through the space with the performance.Michelle St Anne
